Apricot Ambrosia

A bowlful of glowing, ripe sun-filled apricots,

Sliced unmercifully into succulent chunks.


Submerged in sugar, till their juices weep.
Simmered into jam, all year to keep.

Mmmm, jam... Except for the heat of the kitchen, making jam is my favorite part of summer.

Here's hoping you don't melt and that all of your jam is fabulous and delicious.
