And the Bride Wore Red

You all wanted to see the pics so here they are! I had to take photos of the photograph album, so the quality is a bit dodgy but you get the idea.

First of all with my Dad waiting halfway up the garden while they get themselves sorted inside.

Then the rings - such concentration. And nasturtiums in my hair.

It's done!

Lunch in the apricot orchard.

  1. Lovely pictures Kit. Been lurking a while ... so hello

  2. My goodness...he looks like Jesus! It looks like a wonderful wedding - and the picture with your Dad is precious.

  3. I love your dress!

Looks like a very fun wedding.

  4. You both are gorgeous! What a picturesque setting for your special day.

  5. That is a very ethnic looking outfit. You remind of Indian brides with their red saris and veil.

I love the cosy & relaxed atmosphere of your wedding!

  6. I found out recently that Chinese brides wear red.

What beautiful, fun photos. You both look gorgeous and happy.

  7. What a gorgeous bride you were! I love your hair...

  8. Hurrah - pictures! You both look so pleased and proud, and I love that yuo had lunch on picnic blankets - that's exactly what we did at our wedding in Knysna!! Great minds think alike :-)

Thanks for your comments - I appreciate every one!
